WHAT is it?
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot is a family friendly fitness event taking place on Thanksgiving Day morning in Fox Cities, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Manitowoc and Oshkosh. The event will offer a 5 mile run and 2 mile run/walk in each community.
The 5 mile run will offer chip timed results. The 2 mile run/walk will not be timed. Awards will be presented to the top five overall finishers and the top three finishers (male and female) in each ten year age bracket.
ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE A LONG SLEEVED T-SHIRT AND A PERSONAL-SIZE FESTIVAL FOODS “UPPER CRUST” PIE!
Proceeds from the Turkey Trot will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA’s in the communities where the events take place.
WHEN is it?
All Festival Foods Turkey Trots will take place in the morning on Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2009). Packet pick up and ongoing registration will begin at 7:00 AM. The 5 mile run and 2 mile run/walk will begin promptly at 8:30 AM.

HOW do I REGISTER?
Participants may register online using a credit card or, for $3 more, by dropping off a completed entry form and check at the service counter of any Festival Foods in northeast Wisconsin. Entry forms are available on the website and at the service counters. Race day registration using a check or cash will be available at the packet pick up area. There is NO mail in registration. CELL PHONE RECYCLING PROGRAM: Bring your old cellphone to the Turkey Trot and donate it to Cellcom's phone recycling program. Proceeds from the recycling program will benefit the Turkey Trot charities.
